The IHSA Volleyball Regional Tournament begins on Monday for our Flying Geese! The girls play at 6:00 pm versus DePue and hope to continue play on Wednesday and Thursday this week. All games are at Bureau Valley HS. Let's go Ladies!

The Pre-K classes are wrapping up their unit on Community Helpers this week. Volleyball Senior Night is Monday! Come out to honor our Senior girls on the volleyball team as they take on Stark County! Freshman match will begin at 5:00 pm followed by JV and then Varsity. Senior Introductions will be made prior to the Varsity warm-up! Theme for the night is DISCO! Go Geese!
Two WHS carpentry classes designed and constructed a six-sided bench for Midland Golf Course. The bench beautifully encircles the large flag near the first tee and showcases the students’ craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The Flying Geese Volleyball LIVESTREAM will be up in about 20 minutes (7:25 pm) as the first matches ran long and we have our PINK NIGHT raffle presentations to do!! Stay tuned!
We wanted to let families know that Hand, Foot, and Mouth is going around right now in nearby communities and here in Kewanee.
If your child has been diagnosed with Hand, Foot, and Mouth, please keep them home until their blisters are drying up and they’ve been fever-free for at least 24 hours. While some doctor notes may say kids can come back once the fever is gone, please remember they can still be contagious for up to 10 days.
Since symptoms can look a little different for each child, feel free to reach out to the school nurse to talk through your child’s situation.
