JH Titan Softball practice for tonight is canceled.
Wethersfield students attended the Black Hawk College, College for Kids, event to participate in a week-long program. This is the 44th year for College for Kids that offers a diverse set of classes for students in 6th through 9th grade. In order to qualify, a student must have scored 90% or higher on a standardized test.

Students in 1st-8th grade got to experience an interactive and creative Art Camp this summer at Wethersfield by Mrs. Kegebein and her Art Club students. It included creativity stations, canvas painting, sidewalk art, slime making, and tie dye. The club is excited to make this an annual summer opportunity for students!

AW Titan cheerleaders completed an NCA cheerleading camp. The squad was awarded a spirit stick for their exemplary spirit, a varsity spirit squad, credentialing award, the Herkey team award for leadership value, teamwork and sportsmanship, and the stay safe award for excellent skills in spotting and stunting techniques. They were also awarded three blue superior ribbons for their cheer, chant, and spirit routine. Three of the squad members were named to the all-American squad. They are Ava Salazar, Ashley Oliver, and Natalie Nelson. Thank you to our staffers, Jemaya and DaShawn for an excellent camp.

WES students participated in a week long vocal camp provided by the Geneseo Children's Choir. Students learned about music, music theory, vocal technique, and wrapped it up with a final formal performance last night. The cost was free to students through donation. Thank you to Ms. Wiyrick for coordinating and creating this experience for our students!
