
English 1 students stepped back into the 1950s today, exploring the era through QR codes that linked to interactive videos and websites! They dived into music, fashion, dating norms, cooking trends, and daily life expectations of the decade. Who needs lectures when this is a fun and engaging way to bring history to life?


Mrs Townsend’s 8th Grade U.S. History Class has been working on a unit about the Revolutionary War. They used illustrations to demonstrate their knowledge of the grievances against the King listed in the Declaration of Independence. The students were very creative!

Our Boys' Flying Geese Basketball team travels to Morrison tonight for a non-conference matchup versus the Mustangs! The F/S game starts at 5:30 with the Varsity to follow at 7:00 pm. Let's Go Geese!

The Lady Geese defeated Annawan on Wednesday night, 58-25. Senior Lajaya Angel led all scorers with 30 points! The Lady Geese are back in action on Monday night at home versus A-Town. JV game begins at 6:00 pm with the varsity to follow!

Second and fourth grade buddies worked together to bring their Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons to life after reading, Balloons Over Broadway: The True Story of the Puppeteer of Macy's Parade. This is a story about finding and honing your talent, problem-solving, and perseverance.

Congratulations to the Annawan Braves (5-0) on their back-to-back Championships at the Wally Keller Tournament. Bureau Valley (4-1) finished as Tournament runner-up, while Elmwood (3-2) is our Third-Place team. See you all next year!
