ATTENTION AW TITAN FOOTBALL FANS reposting for Farmington:
The hurricane victims in the Florida area need our help! Wondering how you can provide support? Tomorrow night at the Annawan-Wethersfield/Farmington football game, we will have a Salvation Army vehicle at the front entrance for you to drop off items they will use to put together disaster boxes for those in need. We are asking that the communities of Annawan, Kewanee, & Farmington show how much we care by doing our part. Here is the list of items they need: Boxes of Cereal – standard size box, not family size, Canned Meat (chicken, tuna, etc), Peanut Butter, Canned Soup, Boxed Meals (mac & cheese, hamburger helper, etc), Canned Fruits & Vegetables, Granola Bars, Paper Towels, and Toilet Paper. Every donation helps!
@awtitansfb Let's bring some help tomorrow night!

The core value for the month of September was service - actively contributing to the well-being of others & the community, prioritizing the needs of others & offering help without expecting anything in return. From those who were nominated, the staff voted for Leah Franklin. Leah was nominated by Mrs. Frank, Mrs. Sauer, & an anonymous staff member.
Senior Zeb Rashid is being recognized as the Positive Student-Athlete of the Month for September. Zeb is being recognized for his positive leadership while being on the sidelines during the football season for encouraging his teammates and gaining a new perspective that has allowed him to be better within the football program while being injured. We hope that Zeb will be able to show his newly discovered aspect as a student-athlete/football player very soon in a return to the football line-up this season.
Big day tomorrow!
Tomorrow is "Volley For a Cure" Day district-wide. Don't forget to bring your $1 donation and wear something pink to show your support 🙂🏐
Senior Laylah Kraft will travel Monday to the El Paso-Gridley Class 1A IHSA Girls' Golf Sectional. Best of luck to Laylah on her competition! Hit 'em straight and keep on playin'!

Wethersfield was very fortunate to partner up with the Kewanee United Way for the Shoes for Kids program. This program allowed students who qualified to have the opportunity to receive a new pair of shoes. The mission of this program was to provide students with shoes that fit, do not cause blisters and allow them to run and play. Wethersfield School District was able to provide 50 pairs of shoes for students.
Tuesday, October 1st, is the final day to collect money for the PATT Fall Fundraiser! Students are working towards earning Coup Keychains, a trip to Elevate Trampoline Park, Cash Money, LED Lights, and much more! Thank you again to all who have donated and fundraised thus far!
