We will also have informational presentations for junior high and high school during the open house in the high school gym. The junior high presentation will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by the high school presentation at 6:45 PM. We look forward to seeing you there!

A-W Titan Junior High Baseball Parent Meeting to be held August 1st at 5:00 pm at Howe's Park. Sizes for uniforms, hats, and pants will be needed. Parent/Guardian and Athlete should plan to attend.
Black Hawk College hosted 6th-9th grade talented and gifted students July 15-19 for the annual College for Kids at the Quad-Cities Campus in Moline.
Among the attendees were Wethersfield students Jalie Nichols and Jorrie Miskinis and Annawan students Iyla Anderson and Anna Nordstrom. All four took the class "What Career Is Right for Me?"
College for Kids, or CFK, is for students who are entering 6th-9th grades. Talented and gifted students are identified by their schools and qualify for the program based on their standardized test scores. This was the 44th year for the program.
Students pick three classes to attend all week. They choose from 30 classes in the arts, the languages, language arts, math/technology, science, social studies and special interests.
