Our introductory band meeting for students and parents will be held this Wednesday at 6:00 pm in the elementary library. All band students are encouraged to come and meet Mr. Wilson.

The band meeting scheduled for tonight will have to be postponed due to work crews needing to work at the school until dark tonight. We will send an alert as soon as the new date has been set.
PATT's Open Swim is still on for tomorrow 7/18 from 10am-12pm (noon) at Northeast Park for WES families. This is a free event. Students must be with an adult to enter.

If you are a new family to our district, please start the registration process on the Wethersfield #230 website and follow the instructions online. Registration will be completed in two sections. After completing the first section, you will need to be approved by district administration before proceeding and will be sent an email after verification to finish registration. https://www.geese230.com/page/registration.
All emergency contact information (name, relationship to student, address, phone number, e-mail, custodial/non-custodial parent, etc.) must be updated in addition to any new medical, academic, and residency paperwork. The registration process and all registration documents will need to be completed before school begins in August.

All activities that are scheduled to be conducted at Wethersfield Schools on Tuesday, July 16th, have been canceled due to storm damage. More information will be forwarded after the grounds and buildings are inspected.
12 students are headed to Black Hawk College today to represent Wethersfield and participate in the 43rd College for Kids program. The college offers a diverse set of classes for students in 6th through 9th grade. To qualify for the program, a student must have scored 90% or higher on the standardized test. Congratulations!

Congratulations to the first-grade authors on publishing their book, Animal Reports! These students put a lot of effort into researching their chosen animals and creating both factual content and illustrations. They had the help of 8th grade digital literacy students who assisted them with their final drafts. This is a wonderful achievement and a great way for first-graders to learn and share their knowledge. Keep up the great work, young authors!
