
The Final Night of the Girls' LTC Basketball Tournament and the A-Town Tornadoes are regular season champions and tournament champions. Congratulations to Coach Dugan and the A-Town Tornadoes.


Students in second period woodworking class made 6 cutting boards for the Rotary Quarter Madness. They did an excellent job! Also, don't forget to bid on them to support the Rotary.



The Lincoln Trail Conference will WEAR RED tomorrow night at the Tournament games in support of Pittsfield girls' basketball at this difficult time. Please consider coming out to the games to help support our efforts to honor the Family. @ladygeesebball


The Final LTC Girls' Basketball Tournament Games scheduled at Wethersfield have been POSTPONED to Thursday, February 13th. Inclement weather and unsafe travel predictions have forced us to adjust the schedule to ensure the safety of all teams and fans of basketball. We hope you can make it out on Thursday as the Tournament concludes.


Though the heavier snow may not appear until late morning/noon, we are going to have an E-Learning day Wednesday. Hit the packets/Google classroom early in the morning and enjoy the afternoon time for snow much fun⛄️


Tonight's Boys' Basketball game v. Galva will be live-streamed with audio broadcast on geese230.com! If you can't make it out to congratulate our Senior cheerleaders and basketball players, tune in early to catch the action! The game is scheduled to tip around 7:00 pm with Tom McGunnigal and Geese Girls' Basketball Coach, Todd Hansen on the call! Go Geese!

He has carried that attitude onto all the sports teams he has been part of this year; football & basketball. JT delivers what Positive Student-Athlete means to all at Wethersfield."


On Tuesday Night we will recognize our Senior Boys' Basketball players and their families for their dedication to Wethersfielf basketball at our final home game versus Galva. Come out and thank our student-athletes in person! If you cannot make it out, the game will be LIveStreamed on the geese230.com website with an audio broadcast!

A great day of basketball today at Wethersfield! The Girls' LTC Tournament will begin this afternoon! The LTC is loaded with talented teams, including the current Class 1A state-ranked A-Town Tornadoes (#2), your Wethersfield Flying Geese (#9), and the United Red Storm (#10)! Come out and watch some great high school girls' basketball action today!


Wethersfield PreK-2 enjoyed a special performance by Farmer Jason from Bon Aqua, Tennessee! He sang songs about farm life and the wonders of nature. The students had a great time singing and dancing along!


Attention Wethersfield Boys' Basketball Parents:
At Princeville tonight, the Princeville girls' basketball team will be playing a make-up game starting at 5:00. This game time may slightly delay the scheduled 6:00 start of our F/S Boys' game.

The carpentry classes are building three beds for a family that had a fire in the community. Two of the three beds are finished and look great!


There will be no AM Pre-K this morning.

Wethersfield Schools will be running a 2-hour late start this morning due to the icy road conditions. Lunch will be the first meal today. Be safe.


Looking for a fun night out that will support a good cause? Please consider joining the Wethersfield Education Association in our 1st ever trivia event. We are hoping to get a scholarship fund established to be able to give to deserving WHS Graduates. We have a fun night planned on March 8th at Midland Golf Club. Doors open at 5pm for check in and Social Hour, with Trivia beginning at 6pm. Games will be held throughout the evening as well. Raffle items, food, and drinks will also be available. Please reach out if you have questions, want to sign up a table, or are able to make a donation. Tables are $300 for 10 participants, so grab your friends and enjoy a fun evening. Mark your calendars! WES is hosting Literacy Night on March 4th from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Pre-K-3 students will listen to teachers read stories aloud in their classrooms, while students in grades 4-6 will participate in a book tasting party. We hope all of our elementary families will take part in this event!
