The IHSA will have shot clocks in use for High School Varsity Basketball in the 2026-2027 season. Wethersfield SD230 got their shot clocks installed today in both gyms! We are ready for the future of Flying Geese Basketball...Go Geese!!
On Friday night, the Titan cheerleaders got to open their season cheering on a Titan victory over A-Town 44-14!
Our elementary principal, Mr. Dennison, has been busy visiting classrooms and connecting with students. He especially enjoyed joining playtime in kindergarten, where he got a first-hand look at the joy and learning that was taking place!
Kindergarten and 6th grade buddies had their very first meet-up on Friday. The pairs spent time getting to know each other and capped it off with a sweet treat-popsicles on the playground!

The A-W Titans Football Team opens the 2025 Season on the road in Abingdon tonight! Kickoff is scheduled to be at 7:00 pm. It's high school football season - GO TITANS!!
Sophomores just wrapped up reading "Lamb to the Slaughter" and capped it off with a film adaptation! Next up is a comparative analysis reflection where they’ll dig into how the story and film align-and where they take different twists.

The Geese open the 2025 Volleyball Season with a tripleheader SWEEP over Putnam County. Freshmen win in 2 (25-12; 25-20) JV wins their match in 3 (25-12; 19-25; 15-11) Varsity comes out ahead in a thrilling first set 26-24 and then dominates the second 25-11 to start the season 1-0. Off to Mercer County (Aledo) tomorrow night!

The A-W Golf meet today at Midland, August 18th, has been canceled due to the excessive heat being forecast.
The AW Titans JH Baseball game for today has been canceled. No make-up date has been scheduled at this time.
Any students interested in playing 3rd/4th Geese Flag Football this fall please fill out the Google form. An information sheet will passed out the first day of school with game dates and more information will come about practice times and schedules after sign-up has closed.
