"Flu, Covid, RSV, Norovirus, Viral illness- you name it and it is going around our town and school. This is the most important time of the year to be following the guidelines that our school has set in place. If your child has a fever (over 100 degrees without taking tylenol or ibuprofen) keep your child home until they have been fever free without medication for 24 hours. If your child has vomited or has had diarrhea they can only return to school if it has been 24 hours since the last episode. If your child has a bad cough, sore/red throat, swollen tonsils, etc. Please keep them home. Please call your doctor for an appointment and do not send them to school. It is @IESA Officials Appreciation Week! At last night's volleyball match, our girls presented a card and some cookies to our 2 wonderful officials. Thank you to all IESA officials for what you do for our student-athletes!

The Lady Geese are back in action at home on Monday night v. Princeville. Again, the VARSITY game will be played FIRST at 5:30 pm with the JV team to follow! So, come out early and get some good seats for our girls! Let's Go Geese!

UPDATED SCHEDULE: Due to game results tonight at the LTC JH Boys Tournament the 8TH GRADE BOYS will now play at 9:00 AM in Stark County - BUS TIME has moved up to 8:00 AM. 7th Grade game time has not changed.

Wethersfield High School Key Club will be hosting a community blood drive on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will take place in the Wethersfield Elementary School Gym, located at 439 Willard Street, Kewanee, IL 61443. We encourage community members who are eligible to consider donating blood and supporting this important cause.

We are excited to announce an upcoming Cheer Clinic for students in Pre-K through 6th grade. This clinic will be a fun opportunity for students to learn basic cheer skills and routines in a supportive environment. Paperwork will be sent home with students today, and completed permission slips are due back to the school by Friday, January 9.

These students earned 40 or more points on AR with a comprehension score of 85% or higher! Way to go!
