JH Volleyball hosts Elmwood in the Jr. High Gym at 5:00 pm and Boys Basketball hosts United in a conference matchup with action starting at 5:30 pm. Second grade made homemade candy bars to learn about reversible and irreversible change while studying matter.


We will recognize all of the 1st-4th grade basketball players at our home game tomorrow night against United. 1st & 2nd graders will be introduced at halftime of the JV game and the 3rd & 4th graders will scrimmage at halftime of the Varsity game. We hope to see you all there!

Yesterday was the 100th day of school! Sixth graders helped their kindergarten buddies with a variety of 100th day of activities! All the students had a great time celebrating!


Sophomore English students used a STEM activity to work on their shelter building survival skills. They are currently reading Lord of the Flies, which is about a group of boys stranded on an island. The huts were judged on: Most Sturdy, Most Thoughtful, and Most Creative.


Yesterday, the JH choir went to Circa’ 21 to attend a variety of workshops followed by lunch and a great play, “Murder on the Orient Express”.


Leah Franklin, Elle Eastman, and Elizabeth McGill finished a cutting board as their first woodworking projects in Mr. Trill's class. Great job!





There is no k kids meeting on Friday Feb 2. We will have a meeting next Friday Feb 9.

Congratulations to today's spelling bee winners! Julia Cruz placed first by spelling the winning word, crookedly. Max Schiltz placed second, while Isaiah Cornish placed third. Julia will advance to the regional spelling bee, which will be held at Augustana College on February 24! Great job!


4th grade students in Mr. Keane's PE class working on coordination and reflexes using hurdles with a variety of movements.





Last night, Pre-K staff organized a pizza and family game night for their students and their families. Everyone had a great time!
